"...and here between two windows that bring, along with light, the reds of the surrounding Medieval palaces and the green of hangings gardens. At her easel, she quietly clothes canvases with neutral tints, then crowds them with luminous strokes which in turn reveal the structure of the images that populate her magic world. A most singular inspiration characterises her work, born from subtle graphic fabric. It's on this visual weave that Gabry Angeli's emotions braid poetic relationships that have their peculiar validity in the "interiors", immediately verifiable in the "scenes" and in then "landscapes", where reality becomes transfigured by imagination. Gabry Angeli's technique is refined and entirely suited to her inspirations, which are deeply rooted into an art vocation even before the notional ambit of the academic culture. In fact, from the nourishing external elements, she retains only those profoundly engrained and essential. Forms assume fantastic features while the chromatic dimensions evolve into the space of memory. Since she began painting, the artist proceeds without wavering along the meditated aesthetic figurative itinerary and maintains the path of clear correct style. It is doubtful that this standard, selected ad her artistic personality base, will ever bend to change direction.
